Normally I'd feel sorta bad about blowing $120k+ on college to run off and be something stupid like a bullfighter or "president of the united states", but apparently the school is intent on paying me money to go there... go figure... it's late.. does this even make sense? Who am I kidding, i'll prolly end up being some sort of engineer. Friday nights, instead of picking up hot chicks in my Maxima, I sit at my desk filling my head with useless facts and equations.. Great, from the looks of things, I'll grow up to be one of those people that walks around looking at their shoes.

Im gonna venture to say I'm the only private pilot on this board... I'm working on my commercial license, and if planes will stop crashing, i should have a job waiting for me with the airlines soon...

I fly for one of the majors. Get your instrument rating first, then go commercial. You will be a more proficient pilot and the commercial license will be easier to obtain.

Also, the jobs are never waiting for you. It's a long difficult road. Keep with it.

Its the VQ engine...we can't resist it.

 

True, that VQ sure is one beautiful piece of engineering. I also think it's because we use our "engineering judgement" when we decide on a car. We factor in a lot of things, like performance, practicality (i.e. "the 4DSC"), space efficiency, reliability, looks, and overall cost of buying and maintaining a car. Throw all these factors into the car decision equation and the Maxima comes up as "the answer" every time (except for the damn paint chips, of course!).

Plus, chicks think its a neat car (or so I have been told).....

 

Did you misread the topic Steve? I believe it says "Maxima driving engineers?" You may be an engineer, but you seem to be missing the Maxima.
