throttle body adjustment

throttle plate not fully closed moved tps around to line up holes with holes lined up to get screws in leaves plate cracked open, how do i adjust where holes line up and plate fully closed

I wouldn't mess with the throttle body if I were you man... these drive by wire TB are very sensitive, trust me, I fuc|<ed on up recently and had to buy a new one...

that's if he has DBW......However even the cable TB adjustment shouldn't be messed with.

Sometimes adjustment is needed. The bracket holding the TB adjustment nuts and threaded cable end can bend slightly and not allow full WOT and give excessive pedal play.

tb is off the car for cleaning,i got the tps on with t-plate closed but the tps is angled down a bit the old one was like strait level,mabe thats why it was surging and would only go to 1800 rpm

STICKY SAID IN A PREVIOUS POST -hey all i have an 01 max a/t trying to get back right,replaced iacv,tps,rebuilt ecm,idle is perfect but when i give it throttle it surges real fast up and own whether it is in park or in gear,the only fault im getting is 430 cs left bank,would this cause this surge? thanx
