Living in the desert, seems as if the wipe deteriorates due to sun damage rather than use.

I tried the Rainx Weatherbeaters instead of Latitudes to save a few bucks. The quality is pretty much the same IMO.

@tseng1023 +1 on that. Duralast blades are trash. They streak right out of the box.

In all areas direct sunlight and dry heat is the #1 cause of wiper deterioration - aka "dryrot". #2 in all areas is older windshield glass that becomes pitted and essentially has a sandpaper affect. #3 - mainly in the snow belt - is ice + cold + impatience which equals beat and torn wiper blades. Of all the blades mentioned on this string, the trico neoform is the way to go hands-down. Its super premium for mid-price. Good stuff.
