Wiper Blades For Maxima?

I've been using trico neoforms for years now and love them. The place I bought them from sent me an email about rebates right now and its about time for a new set. Is there any other brand of wiper I should look at before buying neoforms again?

I love the VALEO blades found on TireRack. I'm on my second set now.

Best wiper blades I've ever owned.

I'm currently using Bosch Icons and I don't like them too much - they're noisy during the winter and I'm getting a lot of streaks.

May consider switching to Valeo, TireRack has a buy one get one free offer: http://www.tirerack.com/specialoffer...p?promoID=VALE

Yes, that's the offer... but it's by no means special. That's been the running promotion for at least the last 3 years.

I'm using a set of Goodyear POS. IDK why I bought them, but I wouldn't reccommend them!

Are you talking about the Goodyear single balde ones at Costco? For $ 8 per pc, I replace them every year. Works for me. I would recommend them.

Yeah costco often gets goodyear blades in stock. I have yet to try them, been skeptical (although for 8 bucks, can you go wrong?)

I have been a fan of Bosche Icons personally. Do not buy the RainX.

+1 on RainX Latitude. Put them on once I bought my car, and I love them. Were about 14 a piece on amazon.

I got tired of the pattern with wipers in Phoenix, AZ. It doesn't rain a lot and we all know how it gets here, so in-between rains, my wipers dry out and by the time another rain comes along, the ones I have are useless. I got tired of practically buying a new pair for every rainfall, which was a waste of money.

I invested in the Rain-X wipers prior to last summer, and the pair is still working fine as of today, past a few rain/hot cycles. This has more than compensated for its higher price.

We agree again. Best wiper blades ever. I bought my set in 2007 when I bought my General Exclaims and they are still working in great shape. Combined with Quik Waxing my windshield, everything still works great after four years.

Good info...I'm in TX and have the same issue (to a somewhat lesser degree...) I'll go pick up a set since I need new ones now.

Thanks for the info, I've heard a lot of this the last time I asked. I don't like the BOSCH nor Rain-x. I've really been impressed with the neoforms and I decided to stick with them on both vehicles since they're on rebate.

Happy Spring Ya'll!!

Installed these today on my wifes and my maxima. Took your advice to try them and with the 2 for 1 was a good idea since we needed them anyway.

Must say pretty impressed so far. I had the rain-x on my car and bosch on my wifes. Bought them in the summer just wished they lasted longer, so I could spend money elsewhere

Like Rochester said,

I would go on TireRack and get Valeo, they are much better than the run of the mill wipers. I don't know if they still have the deal, but when I got mine it was buy 1 get 1 free.

Just installed Bosch "Evolution" yesterday and drove home on the rain. They work great, but time will tell if they last.

I bought those at Walmart for $3.99, but they were different and obviously cheaper made. They lasted six months each, and since you're supposed to change them every 6-12 months that was that.

I like the Bosch Microedges, but they don't last very long either, so they stopped being super-useful when they stopped selling the refills for $3 a pair for them.

My max has a set of Rain-X wipers from Advance Auto on them. Not bad. A little more durable, although they don't wipe quite as well.

Bosch Steel Tech

Up until a year ago I was using the OEM wipers and would get the OEM refills installed at the dealership during service. They always did the job and that's the name of the game for me. When buying new wiper blades for the wife's car I picked up a set of the Bosch blades for the Maxima, about $8 each at Wal-Mart. They seem to be well made and almost identical in design to OEM.

I'm also a huge fan of Rain-X and treat the windshield once a year, started treating the rear window too. I use a clay bar to clean the glass prior to applying the Rain-X.

Good deal, thanks for sharing.

I've used Bosch Icons for years and in most cases, the car was either wrecked or sold before I've had to replace them, so I haven't had the need to try anything else.

I buy the cheap ones and they work fine.

I paid for the expensive ones and was unimpressed. Given the cost 4x more they don't perform even 2x as good.

This

I miss paying $20 for a set of new wipers... I went to Autozone with my new car, and no blades fit the design of the BMW arm... I had to get the OEM from ebay for $60 ($80 at the dealership).

Rain-X Lats. are awesome. I had them on my old Benz ML320 for 8 years and they still contoured perfectly to the windshield and were dead quiet up until I sold the truck a few months back. I cheaped out on my I35 recently and went with $6 Anco blades from Wally World since they didn't have the 26 in, Rain-X Lats

We have the Bosch Icons on all of our cars, and like them a lot. I've looked at the Rain-X wipers, too. Might give them a go when it's time to change wipers.

Wal mart has em cheaper too
