Metal piece under volume ****?

anyone know if I can/how to/where to get that square metal piece stuck on the the circuit board of the volume **** of the 2000 bose system? The part that sticks out into the **** broke off and I (retardadly) tried super gluing the **** back, now theres glue in between and its stuck down completely. Got myself into a bit of a mess and figured replacing the whole piece is my best bet

Do you mean the actual volume switch that the plastic **** attaches to? Not so sure anyone would know the specifics on what type of switch to get. Take a picture of the switch and then where it is soldered underneath. If anyone can find an identical switch somewhere, that would solve the broken, but i think you would still have to glue the plastic **** on...Assuming the new switch is the same size and fits with the faceplate on. Keep turning and pressing the switch to try and work loose the glue.
