The OLD and THE NEW

Just showing pics of the old chrome 20s and the new 18s big weight difference and love the way the car pulls now...By by boat anchors...

They weigh in about 62lbs rims, tire, and air

And the New weigh in about 44lbs rims, tire, and air

Rim info Motegi Racing 18x8 225/40/18 next time 235 or 245 Tirerack says 20.3lbs, Alot of people said Drop The Shine To much weight...
Big Improvement in Gas Mileage, Performance and Acceleration...just need to get my Ignition Timing Fixed right now 14*

GOOD & BAD comments and ADVICE all Welcomed...

Body color door handles now so they don't stick out.

I like them though...might look a little better with a more aggressive drop too.

Got Eibachs now thought it would sit a little lower, but didn't, yeah going to do the handles when I paint the whole car, but not for a while.

Good move! Those clown wheels were horrible. The new rims are gorgeous, lighter, and really show off those nice rotors you've got there.

About all the door-handle comments... instead of chrome or body-colored, consider having them professionally painted the same color as your new rims. That would be unique and balanced.

Easier turn-in, and braking a well! Looks like a Maxima should now! Nice and sporty, I think this calls for a nice celebration!

What tire brand is that? Tullway or Fullway? You'll look sportier with 245/40/18 and the ride will be more comfortable! Again nice new look!

I love my 245/40/18 Nitto 555's but I'm also running 2 sets of BF Goodrich Sport-G's ( 90 Maxima and the Hardbody P'up) these are awesomely sticky tires and are comfortable, durable, quiet.....and affordable!

My compliments to you on the change. The old wheels looked "ghetto fabulous" to me. I love the new ones. They are similar to my Kosei Penta's with the gunmetal finish. With the Kosei's the wheel weighs in around 17 pounds, but they are only 17 inches and not 18. Compared to the old stock 17's a much better improvement.

Watch out for those curbs and bumps in the road! Unfortunately with these lighter wheels they tend to bend and crack more easily.

I was being sarcastic, air weighs nothing... an uninflated tire weighs the same as a fully inflated tire.... were you being serious?

Are you being serious? Air in a tire, under pressure, actually weighs more than ambient air, or atmospheric pressure. See the link for a simple explanation...

Yes, stockers weight north of 50#'s, sad because that's what the MM EEV5's weight.

Mine are also 38#'s per corner 17x8 245-45's. 14.3lbs/wheel. For comparison, they weight the same as my 4th gen GLE 15's w/ 205-60 15's.

I saw 12-15% better MPG's with these wheels and it does feel faster.
