Installed my Megan M-DT muffler

So I decided to switch up my exhaust and since I had a cat-back already, I just went ahead and ordered a Megan M-DT muffler and got it welded on to the Tsudo b-pipe

Full setup is still the same ---- WS y-pipe + test pipe + 2.5 inch piping

PS----I know my bumper is ****ed up, thanks to the poop brakes on the ford fusion

H3LL YEA!! That's what I want to do. I have the 2.5" eBay watermelon shooter cat-back.

Looks real nice...

...so basically I will have $230 in total SS cat-back ($130 for cat-back, $104 for Megan, free welding)

I'm interested in hearing how it sounds passing by. It sounds deeper and much different than any other exhaust I think I've heard on a 5.5 gen.

Looks awesome! I am definitely going this route as well since I too have the ebay potato launcher.

For 104 shipped you cant really beat it for a nice muffler. awesome job!

Sounds good, but as your rpms drop it sounds like you have a leak somewhere ....

could just be the camera but you should double check

Looks great, but I agree with Hotshot--needs the stock cat on for me (at least).

Wanna trade my headers for your setup?

I don't think I would pass visual on Smog because of 3.5 manifolds having one pre-cat VS DE-K with two.. and don't worry I'm still a newbie too sir! That's why we are all here.

Yeah I figured that. I know itll bolt up but the precats was my point of confusion. So buy mine . Need to sell before I move out.

Thanks for the comments guys, I have no problem with the rasp to be honest
I don't have my stock cat anymore, and actually thinking of gutting my stock pre-cats

Leaks have been checked for and its all good, the camera just struggles with the sound lol

I uploaded a drive-by video and a in-cabin video, links are in the first post

Good vids. Exhaust actually sounds coo under load. Like I always believe, its difficult to make a 3.5 sound like crap. Different story with the 3.0's.

Instead of gutting the precats, IMO go with equal length OBX's. Id love to hear your exhaust note after if you do get em in. They make a world of difference sound wise.

Ehh, I have heard some pretty **** 3.5 exhaust set-ups lmao
I was thinking about going OBX but the amount of work to install them turns me off. Plus to be honest I'm not sure if I'm keeping the car for a few more months or a few more years, but this damn mod bug is annoying lmao

Gutted stock pre-cats have shown decent / good gains for some and I would rather scoop up an extra set then spend a whole day cursing at my car and throwing tools all over the place with the OBX headers

Oh and hot-shot headers + test pipe + megan Oe-RS = sex lol

Nah, I have found sets for $50, this way if I decide to sell the car I can swap my current ones back on, or if I don't like how the gutted ones perform.
