Bye Bye MAF Sensor?

I took my car to an garage and the dude said my maf sensor is gone...
no power after 3rpm and plus i most got beat by civic last night.....
so im guessing, my car maybe makes 160 hp..... probably less than that...
anyways, my throttle is lagging like hell....two weeks ago i replaced the knock sensor because the scanner said my knock sensor was gone.... hopefully i can find a maf sensor and replace it before i get beat by civic in few weeks....
what does everyone else think? scanner didnt pick up the maf sensor yet but im sure it will when my car blows up...
i hope someone can help me!
thanks!

x2. Hitting an rpm "wall" is usually always a MAF. My 2 cents is to buy a Genuine Nissan MAF, as I did. You should have an active Check Engine Light right now.

Oh and stop racing civics until you get your car "straight" or more bad sh*t will happen.

^^ agreed...NISSAN MAF's are a good idea, I'm sure someone will chime in on their MAF of a different brand. Mine is NISSAN

Just stop racing civics all together b/c it a I4 against a v6...at least race a mustang v6 or camero v6 or accord 24 valve v6!!

If I am reading you right, you are confusing the same thing. Mass Airflow Meter is a mass airflow sensor. Just different terminology.

Always buy Nissan Genuine for a MAF. Its a sensitive piece of equipment. That link he sent you had a genuine for 90 dollars! I paid 150 for mine.
