Pics of the new drop

I figured id post up a couple pics of the car now that i dropped the rear of the car on saturday. At first i only did the fronts and the car sat pretty nice but too high in the rear for me so i threw the rear springs in and im really pleased with the overall stance.Little high in the front but i think im going to cut a coil to get it a little lower...time to start saving for co's

I believe the coupe wheels themselves are all the same size (it's the tires that are different)

Nonetheless, excellent looking car/drop. good job!

Looks real nice. Did I miss it or what springs and shocks did you go with? Hows the ride?

Are you running OEM shocks? Don't cut the springs. I PM'ed the last member I heard that did that and he said the ride was FIRM. He ended up switching it up.

The 18s you have are 8" all the way around. The G35 19s are staggered. As are the Z anniversary and track editions.

I wouldn't cut any coils off either. Just chill with your setup now, get COs then sell it assembled, it'll move pretty quick for the convenience and u should be able to recoup half, if not more of the cost of the COs depending on brand and what not.

if you see how i sit on my car on coilovers...i rub like a ***** because of the tab in the rear...before you put on the spacers outback (i had 5mm on the passenger side rear and rubbed on a pebble) cut/bend back that tab, then put on the spacer

Did you trim your bumpstops?

If not, this would have prevented some of this.

I am riding on KYB GR2's with Maxspeed springs. Front springs have 1/2 ring cut off. Which means I am riding even lower than you. I do not bottom out at all.

Yes, I cut my springs and am fine with it.

My mechanic told me i didn't have too and i figured thats why it was bottoming out over big bumps. You know where i can get a pic of a bumpstop and how much to trim off ?

Im gonna take em out saturday and trim them.He said only the 5th gens not the 5.5's had to be trimmed...I guess he was wrong This time it's gonna be a freebie.Do you need to trim the rears as well they seem fine it's just the fronts that bottom out.

Depends on the type of bumpstops/boots you have but here are pics when I did it.

The piece in the center of both pics is the piece I threw out..

Front..

Rear..

What size tires are you running on Eibachs also but running 225/40/18 maybe thats why I got a bigger gap up front....
