Looking at these rims, I'm thinking I may paint the black a metallic gunmetal when I get them.

I think I agree with Shane. Gunmetal/polished/aluminum looks much classier on a black car.

I also like the Gunmetal on a black car. My rims happen to be black with polished aluminum and Im looking to re paint my car black with a hint of red glitter.. Im not sure how the gloss black wheels with look with this though.

My point is, Gunmetal may look better with all shades of black rather than a gloss black.

I repainted my stocker G35 17's gunmetal from the original Nissan silver.

They honestly look 100x's better...

The main problem you run into with black rims on a black car is that there are so many shades of black out there. For example, if you park my black G next to my girlfriend's black Accord, you can tell that there's more of a brown shade to the black that Honda uses than there is to the black Nissan uses.

I understand exactly what you mean. Luckily my gloss black wheels match the black paint perfectly. When I decide to re paint it I may just go with polished aluminum wheels rather than black and sell what I have now. You can view mine in my public profile.

Never knew that about tow hooks.

Non-functional? Are you yanking our respective chains on that one?

This. Car looks good, but please you are not a BMW so don't try and act like one with the angel eyes.

I was thinking about a set of 521s or these for my car since i can do a nice stagger setup with these.

I would really love those wheels... on the rear of an e46 m3.... I don't know... big lip up front feels weird to me.

Rochester: Are you still stock and stealth... once you get the g37 and the coilovers, are you gonna leave it at stock height? : )

I've been preaching this for as long as I can remember. If you look back a few thousand posts, you'll see where I said this exact thing. Pick a wheel you like regardless of the size and MAKE IT FIT! Weather it be modding the fenders or adding spacers because the offset isn't low enough.

The new pics make it look a lot better by the way.

I'm not surprised that you pulled this off at all actually. My boy Nax was running 10" wide all around on a 4th gen years ago. And remember, 4th gens have less fender space. And those were 20s by the way.

IMO 10.5" is too wide for the front. But hey if its your cup of tea, then thats fine.

With your car and "theme," smoked side markers would be A LOT more simple and clean than two different colored and highly reflective side markers. Those OEM side markers now stick out like BROKEN thumbs. If you have the parts... use them!
