350z header questions.....turbo build in the future.

hey guys i was looking at build a turbo kit for my max and was wondering if it was possible to use cheap 350z headers as a turbo manifold .....http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissa...item19c72e4ba7
theres the headers i was looking at, just thought it would be a great set up if the headers came out at the right angles, then just make a custom y pipe for the turbo...any suggestions guys?

Actually something similar has been done with using stock rwd vq35 headers.

Seems like those would take you along a similar course as some turboed 3rd gens utilizing two right side VG30ET manifolds. Have the manifolds aim toward the back of the engne and then fabricate a crossover pipe to mount the turbo (or turbos). Seems like it should work. How easily, don't know. Let us know when you're done!

yeah im just thrown some ideas around, i wont be to mad if i would have to modify the headers a lil but to make em work, but idk right now, but yeah i figured it would be more effiecient than goin from like regular headers and makin a custom y pipe......this one just seems more straight forward......but hell its only around 80 bucks for it....who knows it might work

It's been done already, using the stock 350z manifolds.

^ I remember it as well. The rwd headers let the feed-pipes be equal length which was a nice benefit to spool.
