Engine makes helicopter like sound in Drive

When I switch to PARK it goes away or when I drive. I do sometimes here a rubbing sound when I drive off in the early morning. Totally stumped...Someone told me it could be a worn out motor mount but I'm not buying it.

Just when it's in gear, or when it is in motion?

Something that comes to mind is this -- it could be an engine mount and when you put the car into gear, the torque-motion pushes something against the cooling fan?
