Ok so the more I listen to my stereo the more I realize that it really does not sound good at all. Is this due to the bose stereo or the speakers? I would like to upgrade 1 or 2 things only. Stereo and speakers- Stereo and amp- Amp and speakers- Amp and Stereo. You get the idea. What have you done?

 

Pioneer Deck, Mb Quart Mids/Highs, and Kicker amp. You can hear it from a mile away, clearly .

 

how about a descent headunit with a built in amp and some good speakers. Down the road you can add an external amp to power the speakers and add a sub.

 

4,5 or 6 channel amp?
What good speakers? Components in the front and rear doors? Is there only a sub in the rear decK?

Who did your system? I had the cats at "senor stereo" do the system in my BMW Wagon last year.

 

A friend and I did my system, he is more car audio/video literate than me. I didn't originally have the bose system, so maybe the set up is a bit different. Pioneer Head Unit, Components on the doors as replacement speakers, custom made my own holes on the door panels for the tweeters and Amp in the trunk.
