ok...i might have said this in a previous thread...but there about 5 other cars in my area that are almost exactly the same as mine. Dark grey, tinted windows, lowered, rims and exhuast. So..i am always looking for something to set mine aprt from the other 4-5 just a tick. i found this scoop laying around, so i painted it to match the color fo the car....and am thinking about putting it on the car. was wondering what other max owners thought......

Please don't do that, I'd rather you tint all of your lamps or something other than that.

Please don't do that. Looks extremely awkward. Get a body kit or something if you want to be different.

You want to set your car apart? Why not putting one of those three story ricer wings on the trunk? Now your car would definitely be unique...

If you're collectively asking yourselves how the OP came to this idea... look closely at the picture, and you'll see a LED strip stuck to the outside of his headlight lenses.

Quirky judgement aside, asking for opinions on a hood scoop is still a brave thing to do, considering the expected responses from the Org. With exception to a few clown-wheel aficionados, the Org is a pretty conservative crowd.

OP, the condition of your car, and those nice aftermarket wheels, look fantastic. Just ditch the LED's and the side-window shades, and you'll be fine.

The invader hood looks good, but to pull it off you need the rest of the car to be up to par . Realy nice wheels, and the HP to back the look..

OMG, that's a 5th gen!? I glanced over it, and in my head I translated what I was seeing as a Dodge Charger R/T.

Well, that's kind of funny. One silly looking 4-door to another, I suppose.

Even functional hood scoops tend to look stupid. Definately don't do that to your car. Different doesn't always mean good.

Buyers beware, local pick up recommended. Slow to ship out items already paid for.

Hire me to clear out the amber in your headlamps to go with your clear sidemarkers. You'll be different in a positive way.

However if you get the scoop make sure you get the racing stripes as well

Looking at that picture again, that car would look good with:

-LED strips removed
-Hood scoop removed
-Window visors removed
-Ugly aftermarket wheels taken off and stock wheels put back on

Do those things, and it will be a really nice, clean Maxima.

And the ID 3" catback
