Ive had a check engine light come on and off multiple times every couple hundred miles. Now that i got my timing advanced its come on alot more frequently. Could it be that since the car isnt tuned, with all syock everything except intake cause it to run super rich?

 

im not tuned just lightly bolted and i didn't get a light when i bumped mine but you should run good gas or your engine will start pinging.What software did you use to bump it ?? auto enginuity/cypher/consult ?How's your gas mileage ?

could be any one of these
Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 bank 2 harness is open or shorted
1.Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 bank 2 circuit poor electrical connection
2.Faulty Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 bank 2
3.Inappropriate fuel pressure
4.Faulty fuel injectors
5.Intake air leaks may be faulty
6.Exhaust gas leaks

 

I cant really compare gas milage from my usual driving. Ive had to use ac for the past week because heat index been over 100. But. I can say its pretty bad atm with ac. Full on tuesday got a quarter tank now. Thats with omg no power! Driving. Did the advance with cypher and always use 93.

 

Also want to bote that whilenat full throttle with no ses, i was running an altima then the motor kicked back
And the ses light came on. Thought i blew a coil or something

 

Also another note again. I was on the track on import alliance day 2 all day
