Just upgraded yet again ... 2K2 SE

Just traded my white '00 GXE for a new '02 Majestic Blue / Frost SE. Damn, what a difference between the two, and I'm not just talking about the power (which is noticeable even though I haven't taken it over 3K RPM yet). The car is just a base SE with automatic. I can't believe how much more comes standard on the 2002's then previously.

I paid $23,411 for the car, but thanks to a dealer screw-up by nearly $1000 (in my favor), they decided to eat it so I essentially got the car for about $1487 under invoice. Plus I got them to give me $1500 more than they wanted to for my '00 GXE trade. So I think I did well.

Anyway, I may be around more. It's amazing how much more "enthusiastic" I feel about Maximas now that I drive an SE.

Cool, don't forget about the $500 cash back which is going on right now.

How much did they give you for the 00 max.

$15,500 ... at least $1000 less than I wanted, but I was being optimistic with my $16,650 figure that I was shooting for anyway.

I would've probably paid more for this puppy if I had to...

Did you have to pay tax on the full price of the new car or did you pay tax on only the remaining balance. I've asked 2 different dealerships and they both gave me different answers.
