My 6spd swap and suspension/perfomance upgrade finally started:D
Well i finally got the chance to start the car after having to put it off every time I make plans to start. My parts list:
03 6spd HLSD(rroderiques77)
Fidanza Flywheel(rroderiques77)
Flywheel/Clutch cover bolts(local Nissan)$90 freaking bucks
Shifter cables(Car-Part.com) May have screwed it up. Don't know yet
6spd Shifter(Car-Part.com)(Car-Part.com)
Brake/Clutch pedals(Car-Part.com)
New 6spd Starter(O'Reilly's)
New Slave cylinder(Advance Auto)
Clutch Master cylinder(Car-Part.com)
Transmission mount( Gone Polly fill)
Competition stage 2 Clutch(Importrp)
1 New wheel bearing(O'Reilly's)
H&R Springs(Ebay)
Kyb GR-2 struts(Importrp.com)
KYB strut boots(fcpgroton.com)
KYB strut mount(Advance Auto)
Sway bar end links(fcpgroton.com)
Energy Suspension Control arm bushings.(Got the black ones don't know Why)
Moog Ball joints(Advance AUTO)
ES shifter bushings
1 piece ss clutch line
Amsoil 75w90 GL-4 gear oil
Shifter trim w/boot and ****
Parts I still have left to get are:
SAFC
Left/Right 6spd axles(car-quest auto parts)
Rest of parts for custom SRI
2.5 megan Racing cat back(would love a 3inch but can't afford it at the moment)
Custom torque link in the making
Still undecided if i should get headers or just stick with my gutted cats
Torque mounts
New yellow h3 hid fogs
New valve cover gaskets
Rear main seal and i think that's it for now
So far I have uninstalled the auto shifter cable, shifter, and brake pedal. I have the holes cut for the clutch pedal and MS. Just got a little trimming to do for the MS to go all the way in. Brake pedal is in place just have to bolt it down. Both front struts removed. 6spd Shifter is sitting in place, just have to get 2 long bolts to bolt down the back part. For the front all i did was cut the rubber bushing in half, and placed it under the bottom of the shifter, which it gave me enough thread to use the existing studs.
Started running the shifter cables, but the hole has to be drilled out larger. In the process of doing that i think i screwed the cable up. Don't know for sure yet. I heard something snap when i was trying to pull it back out. I'm thinking it was just the plastic tube that goes around that one particular cable. I saw it moving up and down. Hopefully it's nothing major. I did take a few pics i'll post Them later.

Update. Transmission is out, shifter cables ran,Pedals and master cylinder all bolted in. Hopefully on Monday i will get to install the flywheel and put my stuts and springs together. I just have one question. Does it matter which way the arrow is pointing, on the shifter cable plate that bolts to the firewall?

well this is taking longer than i expected, because i barely have time to work on the car. Since the last time i have gotten several things done. I went ahead and ordered shifter bushings got those installed. ES lca bushings installed on the control arm and Ball joints . New wheel bearing pressed in.H&R/kyb Front strut and spring is also together.Still have to do the back. Also got my Fidanza flywheel and Competition clutch in. After i get my ES motor mounts in i'll put the tranny in. I just ordered a 1 piece ss clutch line and 3 quarts of Amsoil gear oil on yesterday. Got my oem shifter boot and **** on the way also. Dam those things are hard to find. Anyway here's some more pics. Still have to get pics of shifter bushings and spring/strut.[IMG][/IMG]

Happens quite often on Fidanza you have to be very very careful! And i had one not strip out but it would not tighten all the way, ended up using a longer bolt. Also used longer bolts in the matching holes for balancing purposes.
