Alright, a list of what needs fixing...
Hello.
So basically my max needs some work done.
First up, the rear brake calipers. Mine drag, sound like both of them (yes Ive checked if its not the handbrake by any chance, its not.)
I'm currently looking at these calipers, well this is for the left side. Since my bracket is fairly rusty so i thought might as well get it with the bracket. The thing is that these only carry a one year warranty VS the duralast ones from my local auto zone which have a lifetime warranty. Anyone have any experience with duralast rear calipers for our cars..? Are they any good, since i like the sound of that lifetime warranty.
Second, is my rack and pinion. Its basically slowly on its way out, its still not leaking but its giving me the slow whining noise of death along with growling noise when i turn the wheel nearly all the way either way, no matter if the car is moving or not. Anyway, should i get one used from car-part.com or get a brand new one from rock auto?
Also, is there a difference between rack and pinion for maxima with 17 inch wheels and not?
Then, there is the clutch. I think i got this one.
Thanks.
Edit: Here is the video of my growling problem with what i suspect is the rack and pinion. Can be the pump, so i need some help here... This noise only happens if i turn the wheel all the way til it does not turn no more. Gets slightly louder if the car had been driven for a bit longer. Does not occur if the engine is fully cold.

Well, just somewhat doubting that one, then again the pump is cheaper... I need to get a good sound of that growling noise im talking about. Will try to get a video clip.
Consensus was, last I looked, that all rear calipers have about the same overall lifespan. So I used the cheap advance auto (or autozone) ones. With the online order discount at the time, I scored both calipers, and a set of pads, for about $120 not counting the core charge (since you get that back).
I do regret not washing them in brake cleaner and painting them though, the first winter took off the protective coat on them, and they're bright red and rusty now.
The caliper mounts I would just brush the rust off, and if the looks bother you, either paint with bbq paint, rust-oleum, or that spray-on galvanizer.
As far as the rack and pinion goes, see if people have had problems with the new replacement parts, since they could be like the advance auto drive shafts (made by GP I think) - made in china, look nice, and don't seem to last.
