so im in a lil pickle i get a p0444 evap purge valve stuck open and i get a brand new 1 from nissan and the code still came up

any ideas on how to get rid of it ? i guess ill look for cracked hoses or **** but any tip wuld help

 

it has to be a brken hose like a pin hole in the hose

 

Check your whole fuel system for leaks. Do you smell gas anywhere? Its usually a Gas cap issue. Make sure the ring in your gas cap is not cracked. Otherwise you are getting air in your fuel system somehow. Maybe you shook loose a fuel line take a look at everything from the pump to the tank. My buddy had a cracked line near the tank when he had this code.GL

You have the valves mixed up. You are referring to the EVAP Canister Control valve which is attached to the canister and the EVAP Control System Pressure sensor or the Vacuum Cut Valve Bypass valve.

The EVAP Canister Purge Volume Control Solenoid valve is under the hood, bolted to the intake manifold.

 

+1 However.......my bad gas cap threw a 455 code, never got a 444 code.
