6spd swappers please step in.

Which way does this arrow go? I called the dealer to find out which way this goes, and they told me every arrow on a nissan points to the front or up. This is the plate thats on the shifter cable where it goes through the firewall. [IMG][/IMG]. if i put the arrow down the cables will have to cross at some point in order to be on the correct side of the shifter. Is that how it suppose to go? are the cables suppose to be straight all the way through? if i put the arrow up its a pain trying to get it flat against the firewall.

Thanks. it's a pain to get the plate flat with the arrow up.

not yet hopefully Thursday. I just installed the flywheel and clutch tonight. gotta get that stupid plate right before i put the tranny in. it's a whole lot easier to get to with the tranny out.
