Low idle cold start
Looking for some ideas here on an issue i'm having with my 5.5 gen. I start it up in the morning, and sometimes (hit and miss, but regularly) it will fire and idle at a mere ~650rpm when cold. It will eventually work it's way higher after some coaxing of the pedal, but this is definitely not normal. It's always jumped right up to ~1400 rpm on a cold start no matter what the weather is like. I should also mention that hot starts are a non issue on this matter-- it fires up like it should.
The car sits in a garage that this time of year never get's below 75 degrees.
Also, an odd noise coming from the intake manifold area. When you turn the ignition to "run" and then back to "acc" or "off" it will click two times. The car does NOT have to be running before turning the key off to hear the noise. It sounds like a solenoid or something similar to that. What all could make that noise on the intake manifold?

Do I need to do the idle reprogram procedure even if it idles perfect with the exception of first startup? Should that fix the startup idle? I keep reading things about people having issues after they do the procedure...
