I got a 2001 GLE pearl white max, with floormats, for 23,999. In ATL, GA...GREAT DEAL. It was one of those advertisement things, so I jumped on it. I LOVE IT, this is my 2nd max, a 3rd and 5th gen.

26,999 sounds invoice to me. actually, im pretty sure its invoice. thats how much i got mine for, all options available SE superblack(maybe diff from yours). purchased mine late august 2000. PEACEEE

I got a fully loaded SE, Grey Lusture, Leather, Bose, 17" rims, tinted windows, sunroof (I think a lot was included in the comfort and convenience package) and the MSRP was 29,999. Good luck finding a five speed if you want Bose and Leather.

 

I bought my Maxima from CarOrder.com - got a reasonably good deal on price, no hassles, etc. Unfortunately, they had to pay the dealer $400 more for my car, plus ship it to me, so they lost close to $1,000 on my transaction. CarOrder is no longer selling cars on the Internet.

I tried to order a car for my wife through CarsDirect.com, but the pricing was higher than normal local dealership quotes. I guess you can't raise any more venture capital by selling things at a loss via the Internet...
