Cattman 3 in

Got my 3 in cattman finally, laid it all out, and am wondering, aren't there supposed to be gaskets for all the different flange sections, or is it just metal on metal? I only got 1 gasket foot the cat and catback.

I was wondering the same thing.....only got one gasket. I know Brian sent an email out concerning gaskets on y-pipe and fast cat, but don't know about the catback exhaust.

Ya there is 3 sections that bolt together with flanges, then u use the existing hardware from the cat, unless ur like me and have to cut rusted bolts off. Just stems like there should be gaskets. Its to early here for me to cal brian and see wuts up.

Call Cattman if you think anything is missing. Also, did your units not come with directions?

Mine came with directions and gaskets.

Browse summit and look for a 2-bolt, 3" diameter SCE copper you'll need 2 and that's it......or have Cattman sent you the other gaskets!

I found a website where you can just buy some gaskets.....no need to bother Brian:

3" (80mm) 2 Bolt Exhaust Gasket

http://www.frsport.com/index.php?tar...roduct_id=1305

They also have those heavy duty exhaust hangers as well, to hold that new 3" MONSTER catback in place, cheaper than those NISMO ones:

They seem to shift from time to time with the hose clamps and I am seriously contemplating getting dedicated stiffer hangers.

I don't want to have to tighten them every few months.

3 inch installed! sounds great! Not as loud as I thought it was gonna be, but that's not a bad thing. Really tho it seems like it wants to get loud but then I have to shift. To the track on friday to see how much faster I really am. Have a start up vid from my phone that I will post for u who want it, will try to get better camera soon.
