Umnitza angel eye question

Does this look right?

The smaller one has alligator clips that dont fit properly, and then the larger of the two does not line up properly either. Did they send me the wrong ones or are the supposed to be modified some how?

Removethe plastic piece that is at the'end' of the rings, it's only there for packaging, all these dummies leave it onand it looks ridiculous, plus, with them on, the halo won't line up properly. Remove it and flex it to the circumferenceofthe light.

^^^^are you sure? Nothing on mine looks removable, and in the instructions from the seller nothing is mentioned about removing anything. Also the install instructions I was sent are for a BMW M3 (I know they would be the same generally), just wondering if other maxima owners actually received maxima instructions. Further more they sent me an Orion kit rather than the cheaper kit (this is the one I orderded, I just don't remember the name of it). I'll call the seller tomorrow I just wanted peoples input that have used these.

I have seen them and they are a manufactured plastic piece, they should have a score line, a little twist back and forth gently and they should weaken and finally come out.

I am not 100% sure, I can only speak for the Umnitza V1's I have on my 5.5 I just bought. The V2 I was going to buy for my 5th gen, and I spoke directly to Umnitza they assured me the pieces were removable, but it was an 'option' to do so.

They are removable. They should be removed (we've had other similar questions from others).
