Problem with MOOG sway bar endlinks

Bought the links from a local Oreilly auto parts for $21.99 Each and in the process I found out the clunking on startup and over bumps was my motor mounts but anyway after riding on them for a day I noticed going over bumps had seemed to be slightly louder now.I looked under the car and noticed one of the grease fittings had disappeared on the passenger side and there was now a rubbing issue against what looks to be the frame mount?I returned the MOOGS and replaced with a set of "Master Pro" brand links that were OEM size. What I would like to know is if it would have been OK for me to reverse the link on the passenger side to where it faced out instead of in because it would have bolted in the other way as well??Sorry for the ugly pics. All I had was my blackberry. Also in the third pic the sun was hitting the shiny spot on the frame mount.

I'm sure you can flip it upside down, but not swap sides because they have different part numbers I'm sure they are different in some way. If you search through some threads, there is some members saying these moog end links are to chunky, some agree, some don't.

Did you put the right on the right and the left on the left? There is no up or down, but it definitely matters what side they go on. One is shorter than the other because the control arm pivots sit at different heights

I did not know this. Thanks for the pics. I am in the process of buying Outer tie rods ends and sway bar links.

Yup, if you look at the car carefully you will see the engine cradle is lopsided and I think it is the passenger side control arm that sits a little higher than the driver side. And it is possible to put the end links on the wrong end of the sway bar. But the car wont sit right.

Yeah I went by the part #s of K90431 which was supposed to be Front right but I didnt actually see it engraved on the part itself and K90432 for the left.It now makes me wonder if they were switched somehow but I didnt notice any strange position that the car was sitting in.

You cant swap sides. I ordered 2 lefts by accident at first. And the angle is opposite on the other side. It would be impossible I thought to make it fit. Or at least very tough.
