Both on Belt Parkway going towards Manhattan. first up was a MB E430. Lane opens up, and I pace him. He then gets on it, and I can't catch up. Next day same thing. I see this BMW 528 and drive next to him. I toy wit him, drivin faster then pacing him. The third time I did it, he pushes it, but I take him. You think a y-pipe would help me with the first case?

 

No, the e430 will smoke you forever, get NOS or SC if you want to catch up.

 

E430 is quick.... need serious mods to keep up.

 

a while back i had replied to a post, " i can spank a bimmer faster than i spank my monkey". someone had replied back saying " no way can u do that with a stock 2k". here is the deal, when racing someone i not only keep power in mind, but how well the opponent drives. if you are in busy traffic and have a 300+hp ride, but don't know how to drive well, any 200hp car will spank you. whenever i visit europe, i love driving there. not a lot of cops and you can get it. thats where true street racing if fun. busy roads and you are getting it on. "cutting" as its called in europe, the art of not only driving fast but finding your way between cars on a busy **** street/highway,road.

I agree. It's like chess out there. I try to think 4 or 5 moves ahead...

Driving quickly, not recklessly, through traffic is an art.

 

i raced a e430 i managed 2 stay about 2 cars ahead until about 120mph
