I mentioned catbacks, but we're taking orders for all of our exhaust parts. In addition, I've got a couple 5.5gen y-pipes and one FastCat for the 97-03 Maximas in stock, ready to ship. Big batch of 4th gen y-pipes is shipping out today.

If you're asking about a 3" 5th gen catback, we don't generally sell the b-pipes separately because I cannot guarantee the compatibility with any existing muffler/rear section. It can be ordered on a custom basis, so give us a call to discuss if that's something you want to pursue.

If you're talking about a 4th gen 2.5" system, sure, we sell b-pipes and mufflers separately, but its been so long since we made that system I'll have to get new quotes from my exhaust partner before I can commit to a retail price for either half or the whole.

I know there's some interest out there, but I'll need at least 8 backorders to start another batch. Talk it up on the 4th gen subforums, it could come together more quickly than you'd think. Remember, the only thing that counts is orders in the folder, expressions of interest on the forums aren't enough.

As I'll also note again, there's no risk in placing a backorder. Unlike many companies, there's no money paid until we have all the orders we need and are ready to begin production. We take a 30% deposit and the balance is paid 4-6 weeks later when the parts are ready to ship.

I've done it twice. Once on the initial 3" catback build and recently for the headers and y pipe (which should arrive on Friday Night; Say WHAAAAT!!!)

if you post it they will buy.

I believe that's exactly what he said, Spock.

Chin up, though. It should go a lot quicker than your y-pipe group buy.

You're more optimistic than I. I will ponder the idea, though. Because I would really like one.

But let me point out that we will continue doing what we have been doing until the company is sold, or when I am traveling and/or too busy with other work to do it anymore. We're still taking orders and will keep making exhaust parts until that time comes. Remember, we won't start anything we don't finish, so customers can order with confidence.

We're seeing some interest in catbacks right now - 3" for 5th gens and 2.5" for 4th gens - but need more orders to begin production on the next batches.

Brian
what would the est. price be for 2.5 catbacks for 4th gens and how many orders away from production are they? i'm more than likely going to place an order next week, but if people had an idea of how many (or few) orders were needed for production, they might be more apt to jump on them.

Of course you don't have to do anything, but the fastest route to another batch is a group buy thread.

Oh God, just yesterday I was talking with one of my friends about Cattman products!

I'm interested in the headers for a 5th gen (Max 3.0), how much will it cost?

I'll say the price will be somewhere within the $675-700 range. We will need 8-10 orders to begin production.

Our best value/performance intake for your car would be the JWT POPCharger with R2C "lifetime" filter. Give us a call if you'd like to order and/or have questions.

Group deal threads are very effective for generating interest, but the only thing that counts towards starting the next batch are orders. Give us a call if you'd like to commit to a purchase and we'll be one more order closer to beginning production.

A header/y-pipe set for your car will be $836, including your maxima.org discount. Give us a call if you'd like to order. No $ down until we have enough orders to begin production; at that time we take a 30% deposit.

Brian, you should have Manny change your thread title to, "No major changes until there are major changes."

I kid, of course, because I'm pleased to see you're still in business as long as there's a business to be in.

Ooops, didn't read this closely enough. We are most likely going to be making any 5th gen catbacks in the 3" version. Not much demand for the 2.5" version anymore.

In post # 82 he states that he has a couple in stock, ready to ship. These would be the extras he had made for the group order I started back in March.

Wanted to know if I can get a ypipe for a 2000 Cali spec max. How long would the wait be for these? I can call in to order as well.
