KYB Price check...
Hello everyone,
last night I did some research on strut comparisons between KYB and Tokico, seems like people like KYB better if running stock springs, which I am doing...
Anyhow found a website that sales KYB and with some ''discount codes" came to a total of $252 shipped.
Seems like a good deal, just wanted to hear what the others who have KYB's think...
Thanks

Those identical parts are selling at TireRack for $93/each and $65/each respectively front to rears, with $25 for shipping, making the total TireRack purchase $341. So yeah, you found a pretty good deal.

for an additional $100 or a total of $355 I will get 4 KYB stuts and 4 KYB strut mounts....

Don't forget the dust boots.

do most people reuse the rears? Mine have 180,000 miles on them

That seems to be the consensus. The rear mounts don't seem to get as easily compromised by the elements as the front mounts do. Or maybe it has something to do with front-end dynamics... IDK. Hit up djfrestyl for experienced advice in that area.

LUDI, org vendor importrp will price match. Give them a call. You might as well buy 'local' if you can get the same price.
Also, Rochester is right. The rear mounts can probably take 300k miles. No need to spend your money there unless you rode with blown shocks for several hundred miles.
