When I give the car gas lightly I hear like a noise rattling and then when I give it more gas (push down on the peddle) the noise goes away it sound like kinda like a loose screw anyone have any thoughts of what it could be?

 

I have a gawd awful noise at 1.6-7k and 2k, But no higher.

Crawled under and see that the bolts holding pretty much all of my heatshields on the exhaust are just gone.

Yea... Check yours.

 

My megan exhaust fits a little lose and sometimes bangs on the hanger nearest to the cat so maybe something lose along those lines?

It could be pre-cats, heat shields or motor mounts.

 

I had a rattle when I did the same things as you and on bumpy roads. Most likely the exhaust.

I had a rattle that sounds similar to that coming from the left side of the engine bay.... turned out I was low on oil (burned off) which caused the timing chain to rattle.

 

Hope I never have problems like this.....only noise my car makes is when i break, and that beacuse the breaks need to be replaced on the abck two wheels.
