Stock grille painted black. Everything else looks stupid in my opinion. The front end doesn't look right without the emblem breaking things up.

I know I know, I shouldn't be encouraging spoon-feeding. But I had to steer the OP in the right direction away from all the other crap he wants to slap on there, plus I wouldn't want to pass on an opportunity to ***** out my favorite shot of my car.

Why do people have a stick up their *** when things like this come up... Trying to find a specific pic is not always accomplishedby the holy search button, unless you spend hours looking for it, i wish i had that kind of free time. And apparently, everything is searchable so whats the point of this forum, lets close it and all worship the sacred search button...

Anyway... Thanks for the pics that were posted, its exactlty what i was looking for...

You do bring up a good point. Sometimes when you're looking for something specific, Google or other types of searches just doesn't deliver. Or if it does, the information is vague, or pictures are small and/or have poor resolution.

Glad I was able to help you out with a couple of pics. My friend just installed that grill maybe a month ago and the Stillen lip and snapped a few pics.

that grill is one that i was really considering, but ive never seen it on a black max... i like what i see, and i hope your friend wont mind me mimicking his max
its looks really nice and clean.
the black stock grill also looks great. i guess if i get the honeycomb grill then i'll have the stock grill to mess with and paint or even do some work to it to make it look like the c-mod grill in black and interchange the two from time to time, what can i say, i like variety...

btw, what's a "homey" ?

Considering the limited aftermarket for our cars, I don't think he would mind if you mimicked the look. There's only so much you can do with what's available.

The term "homey" has actually been around for a long time. I'm surprised that you've never heard that before. It means home boy, or friend, derived from street slang. Where do you live btw?

Yeah his car has really come along well since I have first seen it. He's always trying something new, or changing something almost every time I see it.

sorry, that was my poor attempt at sarcasm, works better with facial expressions but hard to do on a forum...

btw, im from philly

and you did hit the nail on the head, there is a very small aftermarket for our beloved cars. when i had an acura integra "back in the day" it was so easy to find custom any goddamm thing, but to be honest i like having a modded car thats harder to customize, it makes it that much more unique...
once again, thanks for the pics, i will be getting that honeycomb grill and then maybe doing something with my stock one and see which i like...
