Black Roof! Pics Included
Black Roof! Pics Included
Hey guys,
I haven't been on the org for a while and i decided to update on the latest new change on the maxima. The roof on my sterling mist 5.5 gen has been hazing up due to all the weathering and sun beating. I've always wanted a glossy black roof without the cost of paying $500 for paint. After asking around I finally found a local shop that my friend knows who gave me the alternative of glossy vinyl. The total cost was $160 which might be a bit pricey compared to other shop quotes for other cars. Mainly because of the grooves on the edges and how our roofs do not have a clean cut off line. They used 3M vinyl which was supposedly one of the top brands and has an outdoor life of 7-9 years.
If anyone is located near LA let me know and I'll try my best to hook you up!

Notice how reflective it is!

Looks very good, last pic looks just like paint. I went the paint route w/ mine, but for what you paid and how it looks you def didn't go wrong.
