cruise control button snapped off ... ideas for fixes?

so the "plate" to my cruise control button snapped off as you can see above.

I've checked the FSM as well as courtesy nissans site, but i'm not seeing what i was hoping to see.

I was hoping that it was a plug in piece or something to the steering wheel, but it appears that its one solid piece?

is that true? has anyone encountered this before?

i guess i can just ****** a new one from a junk yard or something, but i figured i'd get some opinions here or to see if anyone else has dealt with this before.

Thanks.

just replace that piece altogether. If interested, I have those switches for $20 shipped. PM me if interested.

Does that side module attach to the steering wheel?

I haven't had a real chance to look at it yet.

it's mounted to the airbag, you'd need to remove the airbag, then remove the two fillips screws that hold the button assembly. Then reinstall in reverse order.

How much you want for the right side module? Good condition? Pics?

just make sure that you disconnect the battery when you replace the switch(so the airbags don't go off). You may not be messing with the airbag wiring, but I don't take chances when it comes to the airbags.

That's on my mind for sure. Not trying to lose some teeth by changing out a switch lol.

Will that keep it from deploying period or is there another method for extra precaution?
