P1320, P0304
Hey everyone,
My 2k AT with 165k miles is running rougher than ever with not only the SES light on, but the rest of the SOS lights as well.
The engine definitely putts pretty roughly, especially at idle but also when driving, and the AC/fan hardly ever works.
I got the code pulled and popped up as:
P1320 - ignition signal, and
P0304 - cylinder 4 misfire condition detected
Any insight as to what would be causing this and what I should look at fixing or replacing?
Thanks in advance!

more than likley it is the coil on cylinder 4 (the front middle). You could switch the coil with another one, reset the ECU, and see if it follows the coil or stays with the spark plug. Change which everone is bad. Also if you have oil in the spark plug tube you need a new front valve cover ( since 3.5 is built together) but start with the cheap trouble shooting first.

I have the same model '00 SE. 131k
I have had the misfire code on and off for some time. I have changed all of the coils and plugs. Two on the rear bank have failed since and I was able to diagnose via the unplug and listen method. Car is running great now but light still on after code reset.
Is there something else I can look at?

If you are lucky enough to have secondary codes like P0301, P0302...P0306, you helps fine tune your diagnosis of what's going wrong with your car. With the codes I listed, each code refers to a misfire in the related cylinder (P0301 = misfire in cylinder 1) and there are less possible causes of the adverse event to check than simply a primary code like P1320.
Having only a P1320 means checking the primary ignition circuit and all related parts attached to this circuit.
In addition to the built-in power transistor in the ignition coil, I believe P1320 involves the harness or connectors, condenser, both front and rear crankshaft (CKPS) position sensor and CKPS position sensor circuit.
Since you've done your coils, the others to check are:
Harness and connectors: check wire continuity from each ignition coil, and CKPS to the ECU. Check continuity from condenser connector (in front of the IM collector) to the ECM relay by the car battery. I would also check the ground wires and make sure there is a solid connection to the grounding surface.
CKPS: Check the resistance of the sensors. Physically check the sensors for damage and that there's nothing on the end of the sensor facing the crankshaft pulley/teeth on the flywheel that would alter the gap (I'd also check the pulley and if able the flywheel teeth at 120 degrees (TDC) and at 1 degree.
