should i go with ksport 2in springs?

i have a 6mt maxima and im thinking about buying ksport 2 inch lowering springs, i cant afford coilovers at the moment. is the drop a big difference? should i save for coilovers or just get the springs. i want my car to sit right on the tires so taking away the gap is all im concered about really.

also i have a knock in my motor when slowing down 2000rpms and below. im guessing a knock sensor. and my vq35 is running rough missfiring cylender considerably laggy until warmed up. and also a little tick when its cold. also it dies when i am slowing down and just throw it in neutral it misses idol and just goes to 0 and dies.

Take care of the motor issues before doing any springs. 2" is a bit much for the stock shocks. I went with Megan Springs on my stocks and its been doing fine.

Definitely take care of the motor. KSport springs aren't bad though. People tend to like them but I've now realized, coilovers or bust.

i originally ordered ksport's but they were backordered, they told me itd be atleast a 2 month wait but i didnt wanna wait. seller suggested megan springs so thats what i went with, they're rated a 1.75" drop all around. really nice springs and they are around the same price

Deal with the engine problems, and save for Coilovers, since a straight 2in drop all around the a$$ is still going to be lower...I had Eibachs and Tokico Blues good ride but Damn these BC Coilovers a Great Buy in my opinion...

I have a set of drop zone springs that are 2" all around to kinda give you an idea of the drop

2inch drop is nice but coilovers are so much nicer of a ride but take care of that motor first because you might not be able to show off that drop
