Does anyone know what this unused connector is for?
So the other day I was changing out a bulb in the trunk, and I noticed this.



Does anyone know what this might be for? It has intrigued my curiousity.

It's for connecting the brake light on the spoiler

Exactly, if you did then it would connect to the brake light wire coming down through the trunk lid from the spoiler. I have it to and my car didn't come with a spoiler either.

Yeah, GLE do not have spoilers unless added.
