Help!!!!! No Heat

Recently I noticed no heat was blowing through
my vents when activated. Figuring the thermostat
was sticking, I purchased one and did a drain n fill
with new coolant. I still have no heat....I went on
and checked my floor boards to see if the heater
core may have took a dump on me and thats not
the case. Ive also noticed my radiator fans are
kicking on more than usual, keep in mind its been
pretty chilly here in Md. The radiator is full and Im
running out of conclusions......please help!

Signed "Mr Frozen" lol

Thanks!!!!!

Do you have auto or manual climate control? Perhaps, the vent doors are stuck or the vent control is not functioning correctly? Also, you could have a blocked heater core. Check the temperature of your heater hoses. They should both be hot at operating temp.

I have the manual climate control, all the vents
are working correctly and not stuck. Where is the
Heater Core located and is it easily accessable or
does the dashboard have to come out? Thanks

I'm not talking about the interior 'vents'. I'm talking about the vent doors controlled by the lever on your climate control. The air mix door motor could be broken. You have to remove the instrument cluster to inspect it. Have you inspected it already?

What was the temperature on the outlet heater hose? Once you know that, you can take the next step. Otherwise, you may be spinning your wheels.

Oh my bad......I inspected the instrument cluster to see if anything was disconnected but as far as looking at the airmix door, no. To be honest I dont even know what it looks like. Can you give me sum insight please?

The air mix motor is behind the ashtray/pocket area behind the center console. You may be able to view it from the side footwell, but it's easy to take off the center console panel. Once off, you should be able to slide the lever back and forth on the control to see if the motor is functioning properly.

Also I havent checked the hoses but I will shortly, at work at the moment. Lets say that if it is the heater core, wouldnt it be leaking if it was clogged or malfunctioning?
