Brake rotors are warped. That's my guess

nope my brakes are fine........ im not talking about driving and braking. Lets say im stop at the light and i have my foot on brakes.. when i let off my foot from the pedal and car moving slowly.. then i feel shaking.

Your description of your problem is to vague , from the info you posted it could be 50 different things ranging from tires to a bad differential.

Give us some more details..

Could be motor mounts.. is it more of a shaking or a sputter? Is it worse when you give it gas?

Most likely a vacuum hose leak or just a vacuum leak. Bring it in to a local mechanic. Good luck

My car (02 auto) does the same thing. If I have my foot on the brake but the car is still moving forward slightly (like waiting for a traffic light to turn green) it makes a shimmy that you can feel throughout the car. As soon as you increase or decrease pressure on the brakes, it goes away.

My sisters buick does the same thing as well. I discussed it with my auto tech teacher in high school a while back and he pointed out that it could be something to do with "stiction", since you have such a light pressure on the brake, the pads will stick and grab the rotor, then slip a little bit, then grab, then slip again, creating the shimmy you and I experience.

I think that it is the pistons in the brake caliper itself. They wear out, and I've seen the same problem on a couple different vehicles. Makes it feel like crap.
