Greg(Luvlexus101) Quad Projector Retro Setup (Extremely picture heavy)

I finally finished my quad retrofit so I figured I'd post up some pictures in my own thread instead of jacking MSU's thread.

- Clear turn signal lens with VLEDs switchback bulbs

Low Beam:
- Mini D2s
- Ebay Philips d2s (supposedly 4300k)
- OEM ballast
- Gatling Gun 2.0

High Beam:
- Gen 3 Mini H1
- Mori 4300k --> (xb35s soon I hope)
- Mori 5Five
- Mini Gatling Gun

Fogs:
- Gen1 Mini h1
- Mori 6k bulbs
- DDM 35 watt bulbs
- Mini Gatling Gun
- Custom acrylic lens

VV link to fog retro from way back when.
----> http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...og-lights.html

I'll let the pictures talk.
The reason the fogs are 6k is the match the parking light/switchback when I run just fogs/parking lights.

Final Output Shots

My personal favorite cutoff shot.

Trying to sell these now to do a better setup. Posted on nycmax, 350 + trade.

If I didn't just buy new headlights I would take you up on the trade offer. Those look awesome.

Did you chop up the fog light housing to accept the projector? Or make a custom shield the projector sits behind?

Not sure what you mean but the fog projector is behind a custom acrylic lens which protects it from the elements.

Exactly that. Mounted the projector behind a piece of acrylic but the OE foglight was removed I presume.

Only the lenses were replaced with acrylic. The rest of the fog housings are still intact.

Takes a fellow retrofitter to understand lol.

Maybe this will help.

Then custom lens placed over that.

By $350+trade, you mean the stock headlights plus your retrofit? Does it include the ballast and wiring as well?

Nice retrofit job btw

Yep that includes everything. Already have a committed buyer for Friday.

MSU I'm not sure yet. Maybe tsx's? We'll see what pops up for sale for cheap soon!

I'm looking into making fxr's fit. MSU what do you think? They're only 110 mm wide, I'm gonna open this extra lamp I have and measure away. I also refuse to pay full price for any projectors (like you chris?)

Yeah **** paying full price lol I never pay retail for anything.

PM gold94corolla on HIDP. He has two pair of FX-R's and might be willing to let a set go since he's looking into getting LS430's with clear lenses.

Yep, might do over the fogs first. I think my bowls are toast from running 55 watt ddm ballasts for over a year in the tiny space. I'm thinking new mini h1 bowls (15 each) with a custom flat cutoff prism shield [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhFLIIDPzMc ] should be quite lovely.
