I'm working on the car now. I have removed all the 10mm bolts at the top and cannot seem to remove the upper intake manifold. Are there any hidden ones by the firewall or anywhere else? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I took those four 12mm off. There are two 10mm under the 12mm pass. side that I stripped (one). Is this an issue?
So six total - two 10mm and four 12mm.

If you have a 3.0 then your have 12 bolts to remove that hold the intake manifold down 4 in the back near firewall and 8 at the front(thats straight from the FSM) BTW ignore the 2 under the 12mm bolts on both sides those are for the brackets(to the block) that the intake is bolted to and do not need to be removed
Thanks guys! I finally finished the job and it was no easy task but will likely be a breeze to do again. Car runs SMOOTH with no sputtering or any symptoms of dipping idle.
BigLou you're right... the 10mm under the 12mm at pass. firewall was just a bracket.
Heads up to those who will eventually tackle this job - the EGR to throttle body will need to be unbolted at the top (you will know what I'm talking about) so you can re-install. Otherwise it will restrict movement. Thanks, again!

Yeah man I feel your pain...I did this a couple weekends ago to replace a rear vavle cover gasket. Glad you got it off. Hope you hooked back all the vacuum lines, I forgot one and was getting a p1130 code. Good luck to you man.
