my heater is so loud on the lower settings. tick tick tick tick. I know there's a TSB for that, anyone taken theirs in?

 

Nope... not too worried about little TSB's that Nissan will screw up even more.

 

i took minein to get the blower motor replaced. it's not a tick tick tick sound. just the motor was loud. i think it was rubbing. ir i guess more of a scratching tick tick tick. it's starting to do it again. i'ma bring it back soon.

 

Cool! There's a TSB on this? The thing is driving me NUTS! Last time I had a blower that made noise like this was on my '73 Ford Ranchero! Certainly not something I expected from a 2000 model anything.

Well, that's two TSB's I need done: Tranny and Blower. Guess I need to get it into the shop soon.

Could be leaves got in there, after all this is the season for that? That happened to my wifes last car, got them to clean it out and it was fine. Since then I'm neurotic about letting leaves build up around the cowl. What am I saying I'm neurotic about most things, this is just one more I got to add to the list! :-)

 

just the windshield defogger(the one that has just the windshield pic on it) that I get an audible click when I turn on the fan. It sounds much louder than any of the other button postions... and that click is really luder when you first turn it on....since this TSB was issuled last year wouldnt one think that 04/00 build should be ok?

Please guys...dont put any more bad thoughts in my head about this car...now I got some sort of carp on the windshield that only appears when it is raining...looks like a haze that will not come off with any window cleaner I have tried....I think it is residue from some crappy old Rainx I put on...since it is raining like heck here this weekdn I really notice it...wtf..man....are all brand new cars this messed up?
