Winter rim size

I know the pattern for our cars is 5 x 114, but my parents have a nice set of winters on steelies off a Subaru, which I believe has a pattern of 5x100. They are really nice, and freee so if I could make them fit that would amazing. Has anyone had experience with a similar situation?

The Maxima's rim is 6.5 inches wide, dictated by the width of the tire needed to support the weight of the car. Also the hole in the center has to be a certain size to fit over the axle. I don't know what that size is.

If the width of the Suaru rim is correct, try to put one on and see what happens. Ford rims also use the 5 x 114 bolt pattern and I think others have said they fit.

You would need to pick up a set of spacer adapter and possible a set of hub center, the spacer adapters you would be able to change the bolt pattern. You would be able to change a 6 bolt pattern down to a 5 bolt pattern as well as change the spacing to match your needs mind you spacer adapters are not cheap and it would be cheaper just to buy the correct size rims in the first place, none the less it is another option for making the rims fit.

5x114.3 is no where near 5x100.

I missed the part about the Subaru bolt pattern being 5 x 100. Probably the cheapest he can do would be hit a junkyard for rims. Adaptors will probably cost more.
