White wheels on a black car always looks odd to me, white calipers behind white wheels is even worse. They will totally blend in with the wheels.
Balck vehicles can pull off just about any other color of wheel though, but are you planning on painting after market wheels or your OEM wheels?

IMO Black is played out and doesn't look that great. Just get silver...

This is Maxima.org, take people's opinions on wheels and fitment with a grain of salt.

Why? Because we're not the ones who own the car, and when it comes to a subject as subjective as wheels, you better not take the opinion of a dozen strangers over your own and your friends.

I say go for it! Since brake dust is grayish brown....I'll be interested in seeing how well you keep it clean! It'll be the last car you put white wheels and calipers on.....It's your car and your choice!

Hmm thanks for the input originally I was gunna go not black a gunmetal with metal flake in it to make em sparkle. Btw I have stock 17's got other rims also but its winter no use putting nice rims on. Then.just stay black for the calipers?

Get a White primer. See how you like it and if you don't then finish the painting process with another color. I personally think the black on black with red or burgundy calipers would look good. Do what you want. If you ask an opinion question then people will always sway you from what you want because everybody's style is unique and thats a good thing

IMO, only white cars can look good with white wheels. (minus the wing for the pic below)

On a black car, it just looks weird...

White can look good if it's not WHITE, it has to be pearl, off white, etc. You can't do actual white on a black car just looks whack (as pictured).

You CAN pull of nice looking pearl white or something of the like on a black car

Why? Cause Im rocking the opposite? Black wheels are a darker contrast so they can pe pullled off with any color of car really. White are just to bright and dont flow well at all on a black car.
Black car with red, blue, purple even a green or orange can be pulled off easily.

Understandable, white wheels is not as easy as black wheels where ppl just spray any black almost and still get an ok result.

But if he can paint them a nice white using quality paint it will come out nice. Plus the last 2 pics Gizm0 posted look nice, don't know how you can say those look whack.

Try it out man. The great thing about paint is you can always paint over it. White wheels are surprisingly easy to keep clean. I was worried but my pearl white wheels stay clean for quite some time

My Max is pearl white, and i've been thinking about color matching the wheels. Just don't have the funds for it yet. I thought about going with a non pearl white, but I don't want the wheels being a brighter shade of white than the car itself.

All black rims look like cheap crap, IMO. I don't care what colour the car is. Black inners and different lip colour isn't bad, but still...

I don't like the black wheel craze going on, buy $1000+ rims then hide them....

This is very true....Ive always been one for one off colors that wont be seen again. However, white wheels do look good but def not white calipers. I would color match the calipers with the car if its a black car
