Finally posting my car

I have to thank everyone out there that has helped me. I have been on this forum for four years and slowly modded my car using the abundance of information and the SEARCH feature. I am certainly not done but here is what I have and what I plan to do. I have a 2002 SE 6 spd with leather. Absolutely love the car! It did take a bit of maintenance to get her where I wanted.

Interior:
Paradox cluster rings (very last set)
New oem rubber mats (just bought off ebay and highly recommend them)
New oem shift **** (well worth the $50)
5% tint (too dark for me but the car came with it)
Pioneer cd player
JL Audio 500/5 amp and 10w6v2 (waiting to get components)
350Z dead pedal

Exterior:
Clear front side markers
Eibach springs
Tokico Illumina struts

Performance:
Berk intake w/ Apexi filter
Full NWP phenolic spacer kit (of course purchased just before the new cheaper kit is released)
Megan axle back
NWP VIAS delete
Free updated STS mod

Maintenance:
New oem suspension parts (strut bearings, top hats, dust boots)
New 6th gen valve covers w/ gaskets
New oem clutch kit
New oem sensors (cams, knock, crank)
Crankshaft oil seal
Crappy GSP axles
Both oem lower control arms (would have pressed in moog ball joints in hind sight)
Tie rod ends (ebay, again should have been moog)
Sway bar end links (ebay, again should have been moog)
OEM high pressure power steering hose
OEM one step colder spark plugs
New radiator
Coil packs (grey dot used from g35 w/40,000 miles)

My near future plans are OBX headers, progress rear sway bar, high flow cat, leaning towards 3" catback, blue led switches and gauges.

I completed all of the listed work and if anyone needs help or an opinion please feel free to pm me. I intend to payback what I have learned on this site by passing on knowledge.

I'm not raggin on your car (I have the same one only an 03). I met a guy in ATL with a 5th Gen and I noticed that he did not have the creases in his leather door inserts like you have and I have. I didn't get a chance to ask him what he did because I moved away shortly after.

I know its not a big deal but to me it would look so much cleaner without those lines in the material. That is going to be one of my next projects.

I think the creases makes the inserts look more like leather. It will be interested to see how it looks smooth.

Thanks for the comments. I need to do the 6th gen brake upgrade soon. Also can't wait to get all of the switches, climate control, clock turned to blue and the cluster brightened with leds too.

looks clean man. FYI any aftermarket axles are 'crap' when you are slammed..but any drop about 2" and above, you're fine w/ those axles, you'll be fine.

Get the pedal from the dealer or courtesy nissan. Simply trim the black back piece to about half an inch and use some stainless screws. Easy and cheap. About $40 total.

Thanks, can't wait to do the exhaust. So many threads saying get three inch and other saying go 2.5 so you don't lose low end torque. All I know is that I'll start with headers and go from there. This is my daily driver and I do not want highway drone so leaning toward 2.5 with a huge resonator.

My 01 Inifiniti I30 has those creases, I think it looks pretty cool, more like real leather!

Great work! How do you like the ride quality after using mostly OEM suspension parts and Eibach springs? I'm looking to restore the original "magic carpet ride" feel in my 01 Infiniti i30 (192k miles), all the struts, springs, control arms etc are original.

to be honest I rather have decent coilovers or just oem ride height. The illuminas and eibachs are stiffer than I spill like, I enjoy a stock smooth ride.

I think I might look for a 5thgen maxima as a 2nd car. I'm slowly starting to like them due to the large selection of aftermarket part and mods available. I might have to look for another project whip

Don't give me wrong man, I love my 6thgen but I think if I want a more lighter, cheaper car I should choose the 5thhen instead of buying another 6thgen 6spd. There is no way i'll buy the 7thgen because they don't make it in manual.

If my both hands and feet aren't in use when i'm driving then I don't want it.

thanks, I have to update my mods. The interior leds are all changed to blue, the gauges are bright white, much classier looking than blue. I now have a full megan catback. What a difference having the b pipe has made for sound and performance. I can't wait to put in headers on the next month.

I definitely felt a gain. It feels like the car really wakes up from 4000 and up. I can certainly tell this engine loves breathing mods, especially after installing the catback this past weekend. The car has new life with each new mod.

thanks man i think my car will really scream w the cutout open!! another cheap thing to do is pay a nissan tech to hook up a consult 2 and advance your timing 2 degrees, it definitely hopped me up a couple of hawses, just search timing advance.

it might just be the picture, but your intake looks like its sagging. mine did that on my previous setup, and it hurt my power (im guessing turbulence). but maybe make u a bracket to hold it up strait.
