orbital buffer

orbital buffer

what do u guys think about waxing and polishing with a orbital buffer
does it make the car more smooth feeling..

Bought one about a month ago. Used it for the rubbing compound, and then for some sort of finishing process that they arecommended at the paint store. Have not waxed it at all, the car seems to still have a very nice and soft feel to the paint.

I would not use any kind of buffer on a newer car..it will likely to leave swirls on your paint. The only product I use on my 5th gen is a spray-on paint protectant, it leave the paint glossy and smooth.

Orbital is safe for new car finishes. Only use cotton attachments.

High Speed buffers are dangerous if not used right. Only use this as a last measure to fix paint issues.
