This is a really good DIY spray tint. Or your other bet is buy the tint film from ebay that goes on with just soapy water.

zee lookin good as always bro
More of a 4th grade thing IMO.

I was laughing at the reverse lights. Between that and the tinted tailights, it looks aweful. IMO, disrespectful to a classy car.

Obviously, the laughing post was negative towards your car, I was just being a smart as.

It's all good man you don't have to get all emotional over it. If you like it, that's cool!

thank you. i had a feeling it was cuz of the reverse lights. the clear tails i have are set up for 5.5 gens, so instead of buying the harness i rewired my blinkers to the reverse light location and needed a solution for the reversies to pass inspection. thanks again, this is all i wanted :fistbump:

Actually there's another one and it goes on glossy and you can make it more glossy by buffing it

It certainly works lol. Just doesnt look good without xtra work IE sanding and clear coating. IMO its better to Niteshade portions of a light instead of the whole thing. Everybody has niteshades now bc its so easy

Niteshades will lose the darkness over time whether you clearcoat it or not.
I had tried film tint but it refused to make its way around that outer edge even with the heatgun.

not if you put enough clearcoat... clearcoat is literally UV protection.

Refused..... really Greg? Come on now. I've seen guys wrap that stuff around stupid angles and contours.

Perhaps it was just cheap thin vinyl?

Wasn't vinyl but window tint. Chances are it was super cheap since it was off ebay and in a less than common darkness. I wanted 50% to go for a real light tint. Heatgun burned through before it would stretch.

Idk. I used about three coats of clearcoat then I cut it with 2000 and polished it out.

**looked into it, not all clearcoats are UV resistant

Window tint doesn't work, that'd be why

If you don't want to use niteshade you can purchase precut tints of Ebay

I know, Ebay right who wants to buy from Ebay, but sometimes they have decent stuff?

Agreed. I'm sick of tinted tails. The only set I've ever liked on this site belong to Prophecy99. SE tails on a 5.5 make it look dated.
