Broken Mirror?

Has anyone else ever seen this happen? I had an 03 and now an 02 that this happened to. Other vehicles, I have broken the glue that holds the plate to the windshield. However in both of my maximas, I have broken the metal between the first ball and the shaft going toward the mirror. Anyone else ever even seen this? Both time were due to a mediocre about of audio bass from subs. Thoughts?

I have had 2 12" subs for about 4 years now. Never had that happen. Turn your music down haha. To much bass is cool to show off but there is no way it is enjoyable for that long.

Interesting, I was about to take it to a welding shop, but maybe I can try this. Its just weird seeing it in both of my cars. I was under 140db too, my old ford is closer to 148db and I havent seen the mirror come down yet!

Wow. Long exposure to sounds over 85db can cause hearing loss. 140db can cause IMMEDIATE ear damage and pain. 140db is probably equal to some gunshots.

OAN, that is an impressive sound system.

Yeah, it is usually not quite that loud, use it for comp stuff locally when I am bored. I am NOT the guy rolling through the neighborhood rattling your windows!
