HLSD delivery date!

Just got a call from my WI dealer and they told me they just got the Vin # and my 6 SP HLSD will be in Jan 30. This car was ordered in Aug and must have been built in Dec as predicted.
Just thought you would be interested to know they are in production.

I just called my dealer (not the drug dealer...) to see where my car is. He said he doesn't have a VIN for it yet, but he expects to get it within a week. He said he has VINs for some of the other ones he's ordered already. He said at least one of them is at port already. He said it takes 7-10 days to get the car after it shows "port", so some lucky person should have their car within 2 weeks.

I contacted my dealer, and no update so far on my HLSD delivery. He did say that Nissan changed the delivery port from Washington to somewhere in California, so he was unsure how that would affect the delivery date to me in Colorado, but we both figured it might cut a day or so off the transfer time once it gets in country.

I guess we realise what happens if it is two days late or the dealer hides it for two days? > no $1k rebate.

Your dealer doesn't like you. In all seriousness it seems that only Canadian dealers have confirmed arrival this month of the car. Seems kinda strange.

Is that the January special offer? I was just hoping that they keep the low 60-month financing for another month so that I can take advantage of it. I can't seem to find any websites that have the new January incentives listed, they all show the current incentive plans that expired on Jan. 2nd.

Hmm, so I'm going to have to decide between the low financing or cash back. Time to go see what my credit union is offering, and whether the difference in rates between them and Nissan will amount to more than $1000 over the life of the loan.
