For me I dont like to slam the car down to the ground scrapping ants off the street as I'm driving with the tire all under the fender wall. But everyone has different taste.
After reading through this thread and looking at the stock height of my Max, I am contemplating lowering. I like the Eibach kit, I had it on my old car. What struts are you using? And what is the difference in ride comfort compared to stock with your setup? I really don't want to sacrifice ride quality much but I do want to lower it a little.

Have you thought about doing a race car style side exit so it looks more flush? There are exhaust tips called Dr. Gas Boom Tubes that would probably look really good. I've seen them before on a few street cars.

This is a pic of the Boom Tubes I was talking about. They've been used in racing for years, and have been popular in the lowrider scene as well since they have good clearance. There are different styles/sizes to choose from, but if I were to add side exit, I would use one of these, and hit it with some black ceramic header paint. A friend who has an SRT 8 Grand Cherokee put these on his electric cutouts, one on each side.

Im also slammed and loooooving it. I havent broken an axel ever since I upgraded. they are the 99 to 03 axles or what not, little longer. Im dropped about 4 inches all around, and yes, I scrape eeeeeeeeeevery little speedbump. I will post pics up later but it tucks in about half an inch all around. On d2 coilovers.

there's something to be said about tucked wheels, I have to say. The poke look is too far, the flush look is nice, but tucked does have a place as long as you keep those wheelwells clean, it' looks very nice, and way more functional.

Especially with this car's crappy turning radius, tucked wheels help a lot.

Waaaay better option if you're going side exit. A big dumb bent up pipe is just aweful in so many ways, if I saw that on the street I'd literally laugh out loud, try to take a picture, and post it in here: http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...al-ricers.html

I really like the flat piping, looks clean, im designing something right now that will have 6 little pipes going up through the car and exit through the sunroof so llc it can push the car down. Heat shouldnt be a problem. I heard that barbeque paint keeps in the heat so I will sprsy the outside and also the inside. Should be sick.
