Corner lights acting strange

Recently I installed some cheapo LED corner lights in my max, and came home soon after to find one apparently burned out. Suspecting it was just the cheap quality I took both the LEDs out and replaced them with the stock corner bulbs. Some time passes, and I see the reflection of my lights in a car in fornt of me and notice that the same side corner light is out. I stop, open my hood and reach for the bulb when I just slightly tap it and it comes on. Wtf? Has anyone ever had this happen before? Its like a crappy connection at the bulb is the only thing I can figure because if the light never comes on just a tap to the headlight will usually turn it back on.

likely not the bulb, likely the housing or socket. unplug and replug several times, that ensures clean contacts. Also check for loose/frayed/broken wiring

make sure the contacts in the bulb socket arent pressed in. they might have been pushed in more than normal from the cheap LED plastic housing. Seems that its just a contact issue from a poor quality bulb.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, strangely enough after trying to diagnose the issue it did turn out to be the bulb. After screwing around swapping the two bulbs between the left and right sides, the original problem bulb would not work when plugged in, but when lightly tapped would come on in either socket. Eventually that same bulb and the other one completely stopped working, and surprisingly, both left and right sides were burnt out upon closer inspection. All I can figure is because they've been on the car for close to 11 years now, they were both on their last leg, and the filament in the bulb I was originally having issues with had all but disconnected inside the bulb. Long story short, I got replacement 168 bulbs and everything works like new now.
