Non OEM Wheel Lug Color Question

Hello fellow 5th geners. I was wondering if any of you know what is the color number of the special key for the special wheel nut. When I brought the car, it was already on. My key for the wheel nut chipped and it from "mcgard and I called the company and they told me that need the color number in order to buy it. I was wondering if you guys know if all 02 maximas have the same wheel nut,if so do any of you know what the color number is. Thanks!!

Your best bet is to take it to a wheel/tire shop, and have them find which key works. Personally, I would have them replace the wheel locks with non-locking.

I reckon you can get the wheel lock removing tool pretty cheap online and buy some gorilla locks after.

get a 12point socket that is just a bit on the small size and hammer the socket onto the wheel lock and use a rachet to get the lock off, repeat with the other locks. When you are done, get a couple of regular lug nuts and you are good or if you are really paranoid, get another set of wheel locks. This way will probably be easier and quicker than trying different keys at the tire shop and hoping they have something that might work. Chances are, they will probably do the same with a lock remover (a socket design to be bashed in to remove the wheel lock)

I just went to the shop around the corner and got them to take the air-hammer to them. 5 minutes. I brought them back coffee.
